Everyone at one point has heard one of the thousands of Chuck Norris jokes. Kicking off in the mid-2000s, these hilarious fictional factoids about Chuck Norris took off all over the internet. The memes and jokes eventually resulted in a whole website dedicated to the best Chuck Norris jokes seen across the internet.

While these jokes only help establish his legend for a new generation, Norris was a little confused when he heard his first Chuck Norris joke. Seeing how fast these 'facts' about him had taken over the internet and pop culture at the time, there was some worry that the jokes were making fun of him.

“He didn’t know if they were just making fun of him at first. He was like, ‘What’s this about?' And it turned out to be the fact that people really admired him. Revered him," said Walker, Texas Ranger co-star Sheree J. Wilson.

He quickly came to realize that all the new fun facts about himself came from a place of appreciation from old and new fans. Norris quickly jumped in on the fun and had no problem with laughing at himself.
