The Unit is joining H&I's Day Shift starting September 3. Every Tuesday starting at 12P | 11C, viewers will get a chance to watch Dennis Haysbert's character Jonas Blane and his crew of tough guys (and gals) embody the true meaning of heroism on their own terms.
The series follows a secret U.S. military group that conducts covert operations worldwide and faces numerous life-threatening situations during its missions, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats. The Unit debuted on March 7, 2006, and ran for four seasons with 69 episodes. It focuses on a top-secret military unit modeled after the real-life U.S. Army special operations unit, Delta Force.
The show's premise is based on Eric L. Haney's book Inside Delta Force: The Story of America's Elite Counterterrorist Unit.
