Before George Reeves became TV's favorite Superman, he was a movie actor waiting for the perfect role that would make him a star. Although he never got a chance to become a Hollywood A-list celebrity, Reeves appeared in about 50 films—many were minor roles or low-budget (B) movies that didn't get much attention.
What matters, though, is that Reeves showcased his talents in various genres like drama, romance, adventure and action. The actor also had fans who enjoyed his work, and to them, he was definitely the big star Hollywood didn't notice.
