Here comes Shatner Claus, here comes Shatner Claus, right down Shatner Claus lane….

Yes, William Shatner has recorded a Christmas album. The Star Trek icon returned to the studio to craft some of the most unlikely noels you'll ever hear.

At last, hear Iggy Pop and James T. Kirk duet on "Silent Night." Snuggle up with a cup of cocoa as Henry Rollins and the Enterprise captain regale you with "Jingle Bells." Country star Brad Paisley ("Blue Christmas"), ZZ Top frontman Billy Gibbons ("Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer") and Yes keyboardist Rick Wakeman ("O Come, O Come Emmanuel") also guest on the yuletide platter. Oh, and Judy Collins and Todd Rundgren turn up, too.

Shatner Claus - The Christmas Album is set to be released on October 26, just in time for Halloween, too. It's available for preorder at Amazon. That's the album cover artwork above.

The 87-year-old actor is no stranger to making records. Beginning with the cult classic The Transformed Man in the 1960s, the beloved thespian has sung songs written by both Bob Dylan and Ben Folds.

Throw the many, many Star Trek Christmas ornaments, and it's going to be a very Starfleet holiday.
