Based on the stories of real life war hero, Greg "Pappy" Boyington, Black Sheep Squadron followed the fictional stories of the VMF-214 fighter squadron, dubbed the "Black Sheep." Together this misfit crew quickly became the terror of the South Pacific over the course of the second world war.
